Training
The best way to train is to ride the course, not only to familiarize yourself with the route but also to experience the climbs, descents, and technical sections. If you are not able to train on the course, we recommend lots of climbing, big long days in the saddle, and riding in the HEAT. It can be really hot on race day.
Official Coaching Partner
Looking for a coach to help you dial in your training, fueling, and race strategy? There are many great coaches out there and if you are looking to hire one, we recommend a coach who is familiar with the P2P (hopefully they have raced P2P). Sarah at K Cycling Coaching is a P2P veteran and she lives and breathes coaching and considers it to be her life’s calling. It is her mission to make you the very best athlete you can be. She provides the structure – the analytics, the feedback, the roadmap. You will dig in together to see what unique path is right for you, based on your physiological tendencies, your training data, your sensations, and your goals. You will work in a partnership. This partnership allows athlete and coach to be greater than the sum of their parts. It is irrespective of discipline, age, or experience. Sarah works with riders from all backgrounds and levels of experience, from new riders to pros, and juniors to masters racers. She works with XC, endurance, enduro, road, gravel, and cyclocross athletes. What matters is that you connect. Working together, you will pull out performance you never thought was possible.
