New Trail Teaser
Trail Teaser #2 – Presented by Hammer Nutrition
The trail picked up on in lower Deer Valley. Climbing up towards Snow-Top and then into Deer Crest. From there we headed up into the four-points area, down Devo Downhill and then up the dung-climb (tour de homes). From here we skipped down to Mid-Mountain cut off.

The Course…
We continue to plug away at mapping the course, we had hoped to have it complete by this weekend but the moist weather (which has been a good thing outside of prohibiting riding) has slowed us considerably. Rest assured, the course is coming together, once this rain stops today we will be out there riding (I mean mapping).
Registration is open, and we have 300 slots to fill!

Registration is Live!
Another step in the direction of this race “really” happening. It is funny how you dream about something for so long, and then finally, a concrete step in the right direction. It’s Registration time!
If you would like to go to our registration partner page on your own, visit www.athlete360.com – search “Park City Point 2 Point.”
On a sad note, the American Mountain Classic threw in the towel today on their late August stage race event to be held at Brianhead Resort. On a positive note, you can now train to peak the 5th of September at The Park City Point 2 Point, also right here in Utah! And…we are now truly one of Utah’s only mountain bike endurance races.
More trail research tomorrow! Details to come.

Trail Recon Ride #2
So we hit it early last Sunday to go out and ride some more potential course. I nearly pulled the plug and 10:30pm the night prior as weather officials (ha!) were calling for rain through the night and into the early morning. I was wide awake at 5:00am, for some reason – rock ready. The sky looking south was clear and beautiful, to the north – dark and angry. We drove into town and parked at the City Building, rode over into the lower Deer Valley area and headed up…figured out how to easily navigate through the Deer Crest area (SnowTop) and headed up Four Points. Found a great decent option in Devo and then headed back up via Tour de Homes (sure would be great to eliminate this climb, doesn’t really fit the PCPP mold we’ve created). Once we hit Silver Lake, the big black cloud checked in with us – drizzle we called it. So, we kept riding, over on Mid Mountain and dropping into the trail cut two years ago called Mid Mountain cut off. Killer decent, especially with the drizzle. Climbing out of Cut Off towards John’s 99 it started raining, hard! We packed it up when the rain turned to…sleet. Watch for the mapping to hit shortly (another 17.5 miles), it will be posted under the Course section.
