Park City Point 2 Point 2012!

December 4, 2011 by admin

2011 was a great year for the Park City Point 2 Point.  The event sold out back in February in under six minutes and we ended up with a stellar group of racers when we toed the line last September.

Alex Grant smoked the course in record time to take the Open Men division ($1,750 payday!).  On the women’s side, Amanda Carey sealed her overall in the National Ultra Endurance Series (going undefeated in 2011 actually) by taking the win here.

7 100 Kelly BONIFACE MOOTS 0 08:59:37.8

For 2012, we hope to have an equally successful event, I would assume entries will go fast again – how fast, nobody knows.  If you want to increase you changes of getting into the race for 2012, make sure you log-in well before the launch to create a profile in the system.

2012 Registration Opens > February 15th, 2012 at 7PM sharp  > www.athlete360.com (search “park city point 2 point”)

As of December 5th, 2012, the course will be very similar to last year.  Of course, things can always change and we will be updating the course and details as we near the 2012 event date.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support of the Park City Point 2 Point.

People are asking, and yes Moosepuddle Trail (at UOP) is closed currently, workaround for pre-riding to the finish for now is here > > > >
- Off Mid-Mtn onto Ambush
- Down to Rosebuds Heaven (adds a little to the climbing...about 350')
- Rosebuds to Rob's and down to parking lot, left on the road headed up
- Right off the roadway onto Iron Bill...and now you're back on track!
