2018 Point 2 Point Registration – 10th Anniversary Edition

January 28, 2018 by admin

Mark your calendars P2P bike riders, the 10th anniversary edition of the Park City Point 2 Point will be September 1, 2018, on the world-famous Park City trail system.

The first step for racing the Point 2 Point is getting registered. Historically the race sells out the day they go on sale, if you’re seriously thinking about racing you may want to plan on being near your computer the day the spots release.

Registration: February 15th, 7PM sharp (MST)  Details are HERE.

The course is a true point 2 point. Thanks to the plethora of trails, you will never be on the same trail twice. You will be riding singletrack for over 90% of the race (that’s a lot of 1-track) and the total distance is 75 miles with around 12,000′+- of climbing, all while traveling through two of the country’s premier mountain resorts. It will challenge your mental prowess, yet it will have you grinning from ear to ear.

Can You Do It?

We hope to make 2018 – our 10 year anniversary, the very best version of P2P ever.  We listened to your feedback from last years new finish area and will be working with Skullcandy and Basin Recreation to potentially route the finish into the parking lot near where the food truck was last year. This would put us on the shaded side of the building and it would bring all the P2P services together, with plenty of parking near the finish.  Stay tuned this spring as news on this develops.

There will be sweat. Dust. Maybe even a little blood or tears. The commentator in your head will question your choices and beat you down all-damn-day. Can you do it? Can you keep pedaling to the finish? There’s only one way to know, and this race exists so you can find out!

Great to see 2x Point 2 Point champion and Monster Hydro athlete, Keegan Swenson, take the first-ever Utah version of the Canyon Belgian Waffle Ride. Awesome to see another great event in the state of Utah, and having a Utah rider on the top step. Read about it...
